Injoy Kitchen Provides Organic, Toxin-Free Food

The food we eat today is full of toxins. We're eating artificial colors and flavors, preservatives, artificial oils and seasonings, and we're also eating foods that are genetically modified or contaminated with pesticides and herbicides. The way we eat is harming our bodies, exacerbating developmental disabilities, and contributing to diseases like diabetes, cancer, autoimmune diseases, food allergies, and dementia.

What we feed our children directly affects them. If we feed them junk food, we will get junk behavior and junk learning, but if we feed them nutritious food, we can improve both their learning and behavior with it.

For this reason, IGNIS Community has launched Injoy Kitchen. Injoy Kitchen provides children with developmental disabilities and their families wholesome foods that are free from neurotoxins and allergies to help promote holistic health, particularly for brain development.

Injoy Kitchen’s Menu

Nutrition is a critical factor that directly impacts every aspect of our children's health and development. Children suffering from developmental disabilities need a healthy diet tailored to their unique needs. As certain chemicals interfere with neurotransmitters, toxins continue to build up in the bodies of children with developmental disabilities through foods and prescription medications, and symptoms of developmental disabilities can be exacerbated.

The primary goal is for children with developmental disabilities to improve their overall health and behaviors by consuming products developed by Injoy Kitchen. Already families who have journeyed through IGNIS Community’s detox program are experiencing significant changes.

Through the development of organic sauces, marinades, dressings, and broths, children with developmental disabilities are able to eat healthy ingredients according to the type of food, taste, color, and texture that they prefer.

Recently, IGNIS Community initiated the third cohort of a “Detox and Nutrition Regimen” for families with developmental disabilities. For approximately six months, Korean families raising children diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities will be following a regimen that removes food sensitivities and toxins from the diet while increasing nutrient-rich foods.

Injoy Kitchen supports this program by offering gluten-free, organic foods. The grocerant currently provides gluten-free sandwiches, potato cream soup, salads, and a variety of teas and coffees. One favorite menu is roasted organic chicken washed down with ginger-extract tea. In the meantime, Injoy Kitchen is also launching their bone broth menu, including both fish soup and beef broth, which can be purchased separately along with organic blueberry jam.

Bone broth is one of several important healing agents for individuals suffering from leaky gut syndrome. Leaky gut, which is caused by an imbalance of bacteria or dysbacteriosis in the gut, directly affects our children's behavior and emotions. Research has shown that improving gut bacteria through specific diets can actually help treat neurodevelopmental disorders.

In fact, anyone with a variety of digestive issues may experience leaky gut symptoms, but in particular children with autism often suffer from leaky gut. Bone broth helps heal the gut by providing important vitamins and minerals, including calcium, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, and omega-3. Amino acid glutamine present in bone broth also specifically heals the gut, while other amino acids in bone broth help to reduce inflammation.

Thus, it is important for families to have access to healthy, organic foods but accessing such nutritious foods and preparing appropriate meals is difficult in an environment that is often filled with toxins. For mothers who already have more than a full-time job of working and caring for their child with special needs, preparing healthy food on a daily basis can be overwhelming. Injoy Kitchen helps alleviate this stress, need for expertise, and time required to provide such adequate meals. Thanks to this grocerant, mothers are being empowered to feed their children organic, nutritious meals while kids enjoy delicious food that improves their overall health and well-being.
